Folks, we launched our Defeat Carlos Gimenez Fund for one reason, and one
reason only -- to DEFEAT Carlos Gimenez.

But the response wasn’t quite what we were expecting. We set a goal to get 500
donations in 48 hours, and we’re not even 50% of the way there.

Carlos Gimenez’s average donation is $2,611. That’s 30x more than Debbie’s
average donation.

Luckily, we are winning in the department that truly matters -- total
donations. In the first few months of 2020, we received thousands of individual
donations. Carlos Gimenez on the other hand reported a measly 151 contributions.

Gimenez may not have the community on his side, but he certainly has a few big
special interest donors.

If we are going to continue to go toe-to-toe with Gimenez and DEFEAT him this
November, we need the continued support of our grassroots community.
