TELL CONGRESS:
Trump’s violent masked ICE gangs are terrorizing families and communities, packing abusive prisons with record numbers of detainees, disappearing people, and mulling using warehouses as “mega detention centers.” Our leaders must end ICE’s horrific actions now.
Sign the petition: Investigate ICE prisons and end Trump’s violent ICE raids!
ICE’s terror campaign can be seen in each violent arrest, each detention center abuse, and each step to expand Trump’s mass deportations regime. In Massachusetts, a man holding his toddler had a seizure when federal immigration agents ripped his wife from their car at a traffic stop.1 ICE dragged a teacher in Chicago out of a day care center in front of the children.2 In LA, ICE arrested a man and drove away with his toddler.3 These are the horrifying actions of a cruel authoritarian regime. ICE holds a record number of detainees in its abusive, inhumane prisons, and it’s only scaling up its capacity.4 ICE wants to expand, eyeing warehouses as “mega detention centers.”5 Congress must end Trump’s vicious ICE terror now. Sign the petition: End Trump's violent ICE raids and investigate abusive ICE prisons!A new lawsuit against the federal government alleges widespread inhumane treatment of detainees of the Broadview, IL ICE prison, where masked ICE gangs are taking people they arrest in Chicago.6 Horrific abuses at ICE prisons across the country have been documented by the ACLU, Human Rights Watch, the office of Senator Jon Ossoff, local and national journalists, and many others. At least 20 people have died in ICE custody this year, the highest number in two decades.7 The White House will only continue to escalate its deportation dragnet and authoritarian invasions. Congress must stop this horrific, illegal siege on the people now. Sign the petition: End ICE violence and close horrid ICE prisons now! Thanks for taking action,
