Boebert voted against the PACT Act, saying she didn’t want us to pay out “a billion dollars forever” to veterans injured by toxic burn pits at war.
John,
If you claim to honor veterans, you should show that in your actions and not just your words.
Lauren Boebert’s idea of patriotism is dressing up nice and attending “the largest ball in the nation outside of Washington, D.C.”
To every Marine, you deserve representatives who fight for your care, so you get to celebrate more birthdays with your families.
From voting against the PACT Act to backing the deep cuts to the VA and Social Security Administration (the agency that administers disability benefits for millions): it is clear that Lauren Boebert thinks of veterans as political pawns and not as honorable Americans who deserve more than just a pat on the back.
Boebert voted against the PACT Act, a bipartisan bill to provide for veterans exposed to toxic burn pits, saying she didn’t want us to pay out “a billion dollars forever” for their care
She heckled Biden during his 2022 State of the Union while he honored a veteran who died for our country - the veteran’s widow called her actions a “slap in the face” to her husband’s memory
She backed a DOGE plan that would have eliminated 80,000 jobs at the VA and cut thousands of contracts for critical services, imperiling PTSD treatment and mental health care for millions of vets
So when Boebert waves the flag and says “Happy Veterans Day!” we know it is just empty words from an empty person devoid of any humility or care for the sacrifice of others.
Veterans deserve representatives who will fight for them, who will expand benefits and care and make it easier for them and their families to access it.
Boebert doesn’t care about our veterans or about service. She has got to go.
This election, we can repeal and replace Boebert this election with a champion for the working class and for those who served our country: Trisha Calvarese.
Our government should be doing so much more for anyone who has served in uniform. Trisha will fight for them—and Boebert has shown that she can’t be bothered to care.
