In anticipation of 2010 redistricting, the GOP launched a national “REDmap” strategy to seize control of state legislative chambers across the country and remake our elections for a decade, or more. We ended up losing more than 900 Democratic legislative seats during the process. But this November, Democrats have the chance to take control of state chambers and guarantee what happened in 2010 doesn’t repeat itself in 2020.
