As you may be aware, the Federal Government is still shutdown. While California has been able to help, millions of Americans did not receive their SNAP and EBT benefits this month.

1 in 8 people rely on these services.

1 out of 5 children rely on these services.  

I'm am not running for California State Senate for power or status. I'm running so that we have better systems to help our communities on the state level.

I'm running to be a representative for you. 

This means my work has already started and continues no matter any election outcome. I want to use these emails not just for you to get to know me, but for you to have resources to learn about and help our communities.

We saw our communities come together earlier this year when Alta Dena and the Pacific Palisades were ravaged by wildfires. People donated and volunteered in record amounts.

Together we are unstoppable.

The rich cannot continue to get richer, while the rest of us are just trying to survive. We have to be there to support each other as we continue to elect better leadership that will work for us.
