Takeoff For Tel Aviv: U.S Carriers Resume Flights

American Airlines will resume direct flights from New York’s JFK to Tel Aviv starting March 28, 2026, ending a two-year suspension triggered by the Gaza war.

The airline joins Delta and United in restoring full service to Israel as tourism rebounds.

The carrier will operate daily Boeing 777-200ER flights.

The move comes as European airlines — including British Airways, Swiss, and Iberia — also prepare to resume Tel Aviv routes.
