November 4th, 2025. Folks across the country will remember that day as one where Democrats won big, and ushered in a new future of our party.
One that’s younger, bolder, freer, and unafraid.
Too many establishment Democrats have been telling us we need to be middle of the road. That our way to victory is “vote blue no matter who” in an attempt to stop Donald Trump at any cost. They have told us that change is incremental and to stick to the status-quo.
That playbook doesn’t work, it’s outdated, and it doesn’t resonate.
In the week since election day we can’t help but think about what these wins mean for our movement right here in Los Angeles.
From day one our movement has been committed to running an authentic and human campaign that prioritizes progressive policy that addresses REAL issues that working people critically need: housing, healthcare, union rights, accessible and affordable education.
Despite the naysayers, we can build a campaign rooted in these values, and on November 4th we saw we could win.
What happened in New York City with Zohran Mamdani can happen right here in Los Angeles.
