Hi folks,
This Veterans Day, we honor the brave Americans who served our nation at home and abroad.
We need to do more than just thank veterans for their service — we need to fight to get them the health care and benefits they have earned and deserve.
That’s why I fought to pass the PACT Act, expanding health care and disability benefits to veterans suffering from toxic exposure. More than 1 million claims have been approved and more veterans are finally receiving long-overdue support.
These veterans served our country with pride. They and their families shouldn't be forced to fight for basic health care. But right now, under Donald Trump, the Department of Veterans Affairs is facing massive staff cuts and barriers to providing quality care to the veterans who need it.
We owe them more than our thanks — we owe them care, dignity and support.
Our work continues until every veteran gets the benefits they earned. Let’s keep fighting.
To all who served: thank you.
