Email from Defend Our Courts John, After a landslide victory in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court retention election last Tuesday, Defend Our Courts is already getting back to work. Why? Because in 2026, there are three more State Supreme Court elections in key swing states—Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan.  The stakes will be the same as PA for these elections—MAGA seizing control of these courts will give them control over election laws in each respective state, allowing them to issue decisions that could suppress Dem votes, and tilt the odds in MAGA’s favor in future elections. This would all but make the Democrats path back to the White House impossible in 2028. So our team is already looking ahead, crunching the numbers and identifying the Democrats that we need to turn out in each of these states to prevent a MAGA takeover. But we haven’t fully turned the page on PA despite our best efforts—we spent every last penny we had to fuel Tuesday’s massive blowout victory. We have bills and staff to be paid first before we can go full steam ahead in AZ, GA, and MI. We know we’ve asked a lot of you recently, and we wouldn’t have had the success we did without your support.
