Patriot –
My oath didn’t end when I took off the uniform.
When I graduated from West Point and raised my right hand, I swore an oath to defend the United States of America.
That oath didn’t come with an expiration date.
I led two Apache helicopter platoons during Operation Iraqi Freedom. I logged more than 750 combat flight hours in defense of our nation.
I saw the cost of freedom up close. I flew alongside brave men and women who gave everything they had so others could live free.
That’s why Veterans Day isn’t just another holiday to me. It’s a reminder that the fight for America never truly ends. It only changes form.
Today, the threats we face don’t always wear a uniform. They come from politicians and bureaucrats who are trying to divide our country, weaken our military, and destroy the values that make America worth defending.
That’s why I’m running for Governor. Because my mission of service didn’t stop when I came home.
