Stand up for our veterans! TAKE ACTION

Dear Friend,

Today on Veterans Day, the government is still shutdown awaiting a House vote - and the President is still horrifically weaponizing access to food for tens of millions of SNAP families. including military families. Our nation should be honoring those who served, not turning our backs on them. But instead the Trump Administration is still advancing cruel policies that would take away healthcare, food, and reproductive freedom from veterans. 

Tell Congress that taking healthcare, SNAP, and rights away from our veterans is unacceptable!

Our veterans are facing needless hardship under the Trump Administration. Earlier this year, President Trump signed the One Big Beautiful Bill into law expanding SNAP’s harsh work requirements to include veterans, even though more than one million rely on SNAP to feed themselves and their families. [1][2] They’ve also proposed a cruel rule that would deny veterans abortion care, even in cases of rape or incest. [3] Almost 300,000 reproductive-age women rely on the VA for care. Denying them essential reproductive health services is dangerous and unacceptable.

The attacks on care don’t stop there. In addition, right now, more than 600,000 veterans rely on the Affordable Care Act Marketplace. Congress still has time to act to prevent nearly half of veterans seeing their costs skyrocket or lose their coverage all together. [4] And even more shocking, many of the more than 100,000 veterans who have served our country, but are not U.S. citizens, are living in fear of Trump’s ruthless attacks on immigrants. [5]

Our veterans have already sacrificed enough. They shouldn’t have to fight their own government to access care, food, or safety. There is still time to stop this!

Raise your voice in support of veterans!

Our veterans deserve more than words of gratitude, they deserve action! They deserve leaders who honor their service not pay lip service. Our leaders, including President Trump, must ensure that no one who has served this country has to fight for healthcare, food, or safety. 

Speak out for veterans and push back against these cruel and heartless policies.

We must support our veterans. Let's call out when the government is causing them undue suffering.
