California just stepped up to stop the GOP’s attempt to rig the Congressional map in order to secure another term in power.
We rejected the old playbook that lets billionaires and power brokers dictate everything — including congressional maps and election rules — to benefit themselves.
And now, with the election year just around the corner, the fight is on. This new landscape is our chance to show what democracy should actually look like. But it also means I’m running in an entirely new and more competitive district and launching a brand new campaign.
I’m running for Congress because I’ve lived the dream this country promises.
My mom brought me here, took every risk so I could succeed, and I saw firsthand how hard work and hope should matter more than who you know or how much money you have in the bank.
This race is about more than one seat. It’s about saying loud and clear that working people should come first, not billionaires who already own the game or lobbyists writing laws behind closed doors.
And in the face of intense change, in this competitive new district, we aren’t shrinking. We’re showing up. We’re organizing. And we’re winning.
