Dear Friend,

Today we honor the brave men and women who chose to serve our nation with conviction, integrity, and love of country. I’m especially thankful for the Veterans of Maryland’s First Congressional District, whose service reminds us that the freedoms we enjoy every day exist because of their courage and devotion to this nation.

As a Veteran, I know the responsibility that comes with answering the call to serve. To every Veteran in Maryland’s First District and across America, thank you for your commitment to our country and the sacrifices you’ve made to protect it.

Throughout my time in Congress, I’ve made it a priority to deliver results for Veterans across Maryland’s First Congressional District, helping them cut through the red tape at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), secure long-overdue benefits, and access the care they’ve earned. 

As we honor Veterans Day, let’s pause to remember not only those who have served, but also the dedicated Americans still protecting our nation at home and abroad.
