I know it doesn't sound like much, friend, but my entire fight for progress is fueled by grassroots gifts just like that. That's why I'm going to ask you to donate $11 to my campaign today – but first I wanted to explain why your investment in my work is so important.

Growing up in Brooklyn meant that I didn't have any real power or privilege. I could do nothing as I watched corrupt government officials favor the powerful and wealthy over families like my own time and time again. I really, truly, felt voiceless.

But when I made history in 2018 and became New York's first Black woman attorney general, I swore to never let another New Yorker feel the same way. So I rolled up my sleeves and got to work.

And throughout my time in office, I have been able to secure real wins for everyday, working families. From restoring critical funds for families that rely on them to going toe to toe with the Trump administration, I have made it clear that New York is not up for sale.

As you've seen with Trump indicting me last month, my work has made me enemies. Thanks to supporters like you, I've been able to withstand their attacks so far – but as we continue on into the months ahead, I must keep that momentum going.
