As Team Espy’s Research Director, I’ve been spending a lot of time looking into our far-right opponent Cindy Hyde-Smith’s history, and let me tell you, she knows how to make headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Hyde-Smith isn’t known for her record in the Senate or any achievements she’s made for the people of Mississippi. She’s known for these headlines:

Yep, those are photos that Hyde-Smith posted on Facebook herself. Our opponent thinks the confederacy was Mississippi “at its best!” Enough said.

The choice is clear: Hyde-Smith wants to keep this state stuck in the past, while Mike Espy wants to move it forward.
