But Republicans refused to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits — choosing politics over people. That means higher health care costs and more uncertainty for families across Wisconsin.

Now they're patting themselves on the back for a deal that reopens the government, but here's the truth: a promise to "fix it later" with no guarantees isn't leadership — it's a cop-out.

We need leaders who fight to lower costs, protect health care, and put families first. Full stop.

Every time Washington plays games, it's real people who pay the price. That's why I'm fighting for policies that make life more affordable — from groceries to gas to doctor's visits — and for a government that actually works for people, not against them.

Because Wisconsinites deserve better than political stunts and broken promises.
