Hi John, and Happy Veteran’s Day to all of our servicemembers! Thank you to every single one of you who have devoted yourselves to serving our country.
Both of my grandfathers served in World War II, two of my cousins were in Iraq and Afghanistan, my husband, Jamie, served in the Navy as a Lieutenant, and I dedicated nine years of my career to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
A core tenet of my campaign is to go to Congress and continue this work:to ensure that our country protects those who protected us.
