As the nation prepares to celebrate our 250th birthday in 2026, it's important to remember and honor those who have served our country in the military and made this incredible milestone possible.
On Veterans Day, we honor the sacrifice of all who served by recognizing these brave men and women and remembering those who lost their lives protecting others.
Today, and every day, I ask you to keep all veterans and active-duty military personnel and their families in your thoughts and prayers. Thousands of veterans call Indiana home, and I encourage you to honor them today, and every day, with your gratitude.
When we needed them the most, our veterans answered the call to defend our nation, our families, our freedom and our way of life. May we never forget their sacrifices, and may we never take our liberties for granted.
