Friend --
Serving in the United States Air Force was the greatest honor of my
life. I was fortunate to serve beside incredible men and women whose
love of country and fidelity to the Constitution ran deep.
Today, I’m especially grateful for all the Veterans who came before
us—those who protected our nation, defended our freedoms, and
safeguarded our democracy.
In a time of deep division, our military stands as a powerful
reminder of what unites us. It is one of the most respected
institutions in America precisely because it serves the nation—not a
party, not a person. Its strength lies in its nonpartisan
commitment to the Constitution and to the people of the United
States.
So today, and every day, let’s remember what our Veterans have
given—and what they continue to represent. Today, if you
see a Veteran, thank them. If you know a Veteran, tell them their
service still inspires a nation that’s worth believing
in.
On behalf of all of us at Country First — thank you to every
American who has served.

PS: Country First will be hosting a Day of Action, tomorrow
at 3 P.M. Eastern.
The government may reopen this week, but as this potential
deal takes shape, we have to ask:
- Does it address the cost of living?
- Does it strengthen our communities?
- Does it reflect our values as a democracy?
