Free Admission at Texas State Historic Sites for Those Who Served

As a thank you to those who have served in the Armed Forces, the Texas Historical Commission is waiving admission fees at our state historic sites [ [link removed] ] today in honor of Veterans Day.

Veterans also receive discounted admission all year, and active-duty service members are always admitted free. We are proud to welcome members of the military to the sites that protect Texas history.

Please note: The San Jacinto Museum is closed on Tuesdays and will instead offer free admission to veterans on Wednesday, November 12, to celebrate Veterans Day.
