Team, it’s been a big week for Democrats in every corner of the country. Just look at these states:

In Virginia, Abigail Spanberger was elected the first woman governor of the Commonwealth with over 57 percent of the vote.
In New Jersey, Mikie Sherrill won her race for governor with more than 56 percent of the vote.
In New York City, Zohran Mamdani was elected mayor with over a million votes.
In Pennsylvania, voters chose to retain three State Supreme Court Justices, with each receiving more than 61 percent of the vote.
In California, voters approved Prop 50 with nearly 64 percent of the vote.
No, none of these stats are a typo.

In states and cities nationwide, Democrats dominated in races up and down the ballot.

On Tuesday night, voters sent a clear message to Trump and his allies: We’re done with your attacks on our democracy and our economy, and we’re coming for Congress next.

At the DNC, we’ve spent 2025 organizing across the country, we’ve invested millions in state Democratic parties, and we’ve talked to voters in the bluest of blue and the reddest of red districts to make sure they are hearing Democrats’ message.

But here’s the truth: The work is just beginning. If we want to win back Congress next year and the White House in 2028, we can’t slow down now.
