John,
I hear all the time from New Mexicans who lose sleep at night worrying about the soaring cost of healthcare and their ability to care for themselves and their loved ones.
That’s who I listen to — not party leaders in Washington.
Since before this shutdown began, I’ve been calling for bipartisan negotiations to bring down healthcare costs and protect the subsidies that make coverage affordable for thousands of New Mexicans.
The Senate has failed to address the rising cost of care and is leaving too many families facing higher bills they simply can’t afford.
My job in Congress is to make sure any agreement to fund our government makes life better — not worse — for New Mexicans. That means rejecting short-term political deals that leave families behind and working to deliver real, lasting solutions.
If you’re with me in the fight for affordable healthcare, add your name today. Together, we can build a government that works for New Mexicans and ensures that everyone can access the care they need.
I’ll keep pushing every day to make sure Washington focuses on what truly matters: lowering healthcare costs, protecting critical subsidies, and helping families afford the care they deserve.
— Gabe
