Rally Outside Starbucks Roastery!

Thurs Nov 13

4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

1124 Pike St

92% of Starbucks Workers United union members have just voted to strike!

Join union members, community supporters, and Seattle DSA at this rally at the (closed) Capitol Hill Roastery at 1124 Pike St. The rally will start promptly at 4pm! Look for the Seattle DSA banner!

If you’re a union member, call your representative or shop steward and ask if your union banner will be at the rally! A show of solidarity and strength in Starbucks’ hometown will go a long way.

If you’d like to join Starbucks workers on the picket lines, sign up for our Strike Ready program here. Pickets will be rotating, so we’ll let you know where and when you can join the line, and other ways that you can support the strike!

Strike Ready for Starbucks workers!

Sign up to support striking Starbucks workers!

In the past weeks, Starbucks has laid off nearly 1,000 workers in the Seattle area as part of a nationwide "restructuring." Union members aren't deterred: the company plans to spend $1 billion to revive its "coffeehouse feel" rather than negotiate in good faith with its workers. 92 percent of SBWU members have voted to authorize a strike to begin 11/13!

If you sign up and indicate that you want to join a picket line, we'll let you know where you can go to support them! Picket locations will be rotating, but we'll have the schedule to help you get to the location that works for you.
