It's PA Lieutenant Governor Austin Davis. Last week, Pennsylvanians in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties voted to retain their Democratic State Supreme Court Justices. This is a huge win for the Commonwealth.

Every day, we face attacks from Trump in the form of his harmful policies and dangerous decision-making.

This month, three judges ruled that the Trump Administration must start funding SNAP benefits even though the federal shutdown is still in place. This would guarantee access to food and other resources that our neighbors rely on.

Instead of complying, Trump and his loyalists are fighting this in court to punish the Democrats who are fighting for Medicaid and other essential resources that extremist Republicans seek to dismantle.

This is where our Supreme Court Justices come into play.

With the recent vote to retain all three seats that were on the ballot, the state Supreme Court maintains the 5-2 Democratic majority.

In recent years, these Justices have protected our right to vote, access to abortion, and more. I know without a doubt that they will continue to protect the Commonwealth from extremism. This was a win for Democrats AND the Commonwealth.

This election is a great sign for 2026, but we can't relax yet. Tuesday night sent a powerful message that far-right extremists are vulnerable, but that means that they will dump even more money into our races in Pennsylvania.
