John, I’m sure you saw the news: The Senate struck an agreement to end the government shutdown, with no guarantee to tackle the rising health care premiums for millions of Americans.

For months, I’ve been hearing from folks bracing for their health insurance premiums to skyrocket. Some are scared they’ll lose coverage altogether because they can’t afford these price hikes. This deal does nothing to take on those high healthcare costs.

So no—I’m not about to roll the dice on my constituents’ health care because of some pathetic promise from the Senate for a “future vote” that Mike Johnson won’t honor anyways.
