Did you know that since Donald Trump has taken office, ONE in FOUR ICE arrests have taken place in Texas? 

John, Trump’s immigration agenda is nothing more than political theater at the expense of human lives. 

It’s reckless, as ICE runs around locking up thousands of people who were never convicted of a crime.

It’s racist, targeting people based on ethnicity without due process. 

And it’s ruining Texas’ economy by intimidating legal workers and destroying job growth. 

Before I came to Congress, I spent many years as a practicing attorney. I believe that we must build an immigration system rooted in fairness and the rule of law – and that we have to hold Trump accountable for the harm his policies are causing.
