Did you know extreme heat is one of the deadliest hazards — especially here in Arizona? Yet we still lack legal, enforceable protections guaranteeing water, shade, and rest for workers.

That’s why the Arizona Heat Standards Coalition launched this petition: demanding heat standard protections for every worker. Governor Hobbs’ Workplace Heat Safety Task Force is debating this right now, and they need to hear from us that we need enforceable standards that every employer has to follow, not voluntary guidelines or suggestions. Every signature shows decision-makers that we won’t wait for another tragedy to act.

Through an executive order, Governor Hobbs can ensure not one more worker dies on the job from extreme heat. Tell the Governor and Task Force to act now.
