PFLAG Academy Online: November Learning Session

Join our upcoming PFLAG Academy Online virtual learning session, “Being an Asexual and Aromantic Ally: You Can't Fix What's Not Broken”, on Wednesday, November 19 at 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT to learn more about being an ally to people who are asexual and/or aromantic.

In this workshop, participants will learn more about people who are asexual and aromantic, how their experiences differ from those of allosexual and alloromantic people, and how we can all be better allies that create space that is not only inclusive, but also affirming.

Register today at: pflag.org/onlineacademy

November 13 - 19 is Trans Awareness Week

Trans Awareness Week begins this week, and we wanted to make a few things very clear: Trans people have ALWAYS existed, will always exist, and will ALWAYS belong in our communities.

And to our wonderful trans loved ones: Your right to be happy, healthy, and safe is not up for debate. We see you, we support you, and we will ALWAYS keep fighting by your side.

Want to learn more or be a better ally? Check our our Transgender Resources

On a teal background decorated with bright blue griddled dots, neon shapes, hearts in the style of the trans and nonbinary flags, and a lime green border is white text reading, “GUIDE TO BEING AN ALLY TO TRANS AND NONBINARY PEOPLE”. Lime-colored text beneath reads, “S4E PUBLICATION”. Along the top third of the graphic is a cut out photo of two gender nonconforming people, smiling and hanging upside down.
Guide to Being an Ally to Trans and Nonbinary People

Show up as an active ally for our trans and nonbinary loved ones by checking out our resource, Guide to Being an Ally to Trans and Nonbinary People. This publication, from our Straight for Equality program, will help you learn more about what transgender and nonbinary mean, become better informed about the challenges that many trans and nonbinary people face, and know specific ways that you can be a strong ally to trans and nonbinary people.
