Friend,
It looks like the government shutdown is ending soon, so I wanted to share some thoughts with you.
Ossoff and Warnock voted NO:
Is anyone actually shocked that Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock voted against ending the shutdown?
They haven’t taken a tough vote against their party since they got there, so if you’re surprised, don’t be.
It’s disgraceful.
I’m a veteran, so I take votes against paying our troops a little personally.
Ossoff and Warnock voted against paying troops more than a dozen times, and why? To score some political points with their most liberal supporters.
Not only that, I cut my teeth on the streets of Atlanta as a beat cop before becoming chief of police in Doraville.
I’ve seen the importance of aid for needy families up close and personal. So when I see Ossoff and Warnock say they’re all for helping people who are struggling, but then vote against things like SNAP, I take note.
Georgia has to do better when it comes to our senators, that much is obvious.
We have a chance to defeat Ossoff in 2026 and keep key statewide offices, including mine, red. We can’t come up short.
Thanks for taking the time to read. |
