Democrats aren't just picking up votes in deep blue areas like Northern Virginia. We're also seeing huge gains in rural Virginia, places that voted for Trump by 40-60%.

  • 🔵 In deep blue Arlington County (Northern Virginia) Democrats overperformed by 9.3%
  • 🟣 In purple Surry County, Democrats overperformed by 5.4%
  • 🔴 And in deep red Alleghany County, Democrats overperformed by 9.1%

Here's what this means -- it's not just turnout. Trump voters are turning their backs on Republicans now that they see what sort of pain their policies bring to them and their families.
