FEEDBACK REQUESTED: HELP SHAPE ARLINGTON'S SIGN REGULATIONS
Arlington County is seeking input on proposed updates to its sign regulations, focusing on sidewalk signage and pedestrian-oriented signs. This effort is part of the County’s Commercial Market Resiliency Initiative. Clear and consistent sign regulations are essential for businesses to effectively reach customers, enhance visibility, and contribute to vibrant streetscapes. The Chamber has long advocated for more streamlined and business-friendly signage rules, and your experiences have helped guide that effort since the first phase of revisions was adopted in July.
This new County survey is your opportunity to share direct feedback that will shape future sign policies. We encourage all members, especially those using sidewalk or pedestrian-facing signage, to participate before the survey closes on Sunday, November 30.
The Chamber remains a strong advocate for more streamlined sign regulations. If you wish to also share examples or challenges from your business on signage to inform Chamber advocacy, please email Government Affairs Manager John Musso at [email protected].
