Hey Everyone,
Thank you for your resistance efforts this previous week! Together we are working for a better future, and that energy showed up in the outstanding election results this past past Tuesday in states across the nation. As the government shutdown drags on and the Trump administration continues to double down on its hateful policies, we still have much work to do.
Feed Our Neighbors
While Trump asks SCOTUS to allow him to deny full SNAP benefits to Americans, many Kentuckians are struggling to feed themselves and their families. We urge you to find a food pantry near you and donate food or money.
You can find a comprehensive list of food pantries in Central and Eastern Kentucky on the God’s Pantry website ([link removed]) .
Signs for Solidarity
We can and must stand up for immigrants and show that they are essential and welcomed members of our communities.
Sign up now to visit local businesses in your neighborhood ([link removed]) .
Ask the business owners or managers to post signs that declare their support for their immigrant neighbors and opposition to ICE as well as create a private area for employees that ICE cannot legally enter without a signed judicial warrant. These are simple steps that businesses can take to protect their employees from ICE and make all immigrants feel welcome in your community.

Cancel Spotify Premium
National Indivisible has issued a statement regarding Spotify and why you should cancel your Spotify Premium subscription:
Don’t Stream Fascism
Spotify is treating ICE recruitment like just another ad. But when you turn family separation into a marketing pitch, you’re not a platform - you’re spreading propaganda.
* Cancel your Spotify Premium subscription until Spotify removes all ICE ads
* Demand Spotify immediately terminate all ICE and DHS advertising contracts
* Urge artists and podcasters to speak out.

Without these subsidies, ACA premiums will skyrocket for 2026. The Democrats are making an offer that would help millions of Americans.
