Trump’s USDA is sitting on billions of dollars in contingency funds they’re legally obligated to use to fund SNAP. But after a federal court ordered them to pay November’s SNAP benefits in full, Trump asked the Supreme Court to intervene.
Now, families who rely on SNAP are left in limbo — and the Trump administration is even asking states to return the November benefits some had already started distributing, throwing this vital program into further chaos.
Let’s be extremely clear: more than 41 million Americans are at risk of going hungry — not because their government can’t afford to give them the support they need, but because their government is choosing not to.
Intentionally. Deliberately. Cruelly.
We are the richest country in the world, but tens of millions of families can’t afford groceries — let alone a Thanksgiving turkey — because Donald Trump doesn’t care.
Playing politics with basic needs is outrageous, and it’s unacceptable — that’s why I’m suing Trump’s USDA.
If you’re with me, add your name to demand Trump release full SNAP funding now.
