Friend,

Trump’s takeover of the courts wasn’t a short-term power grab – it was a
long game. And this fall, we’ve seen just how far his judges and justices
are willing to go.

In just the last two months, Trump-appointed judges have issued more than
a dozen new rulings that undermine civil rights, environmental
protections, and the very agencies meant to serve the American people.

Our new Confirmed Judges, Confirmed Fears report highlights 14 alarming
cases from September through October – decisions that show exactly why
Trump’s judicial legacy remains one of the most dangerous aspects of his
presidency. [ [link removed] ]Read the full report >>

Among the rulings:

* The Supreme Court’s Trump-aligned justices voted to uphold Trump’s
authority to fire officials protected by law – a move that guts
oversight and accountability.
* A Trump district judge voted to let the administration terminate
billions in climate change grants and halt foreign aid that Congress
had already approved.
* Two rulings granted broad immunity to prison officials accused of
serious abuse, denying justice to the people they harmed.
* Another Trump judge wrote a split decision letting coal companies off
the hook for black lung disease.

Each of these decisions chips away at our rights, and each one underscores
the importance of fighting against the confirmation of even more judges
nominated by Trump.

People For’s Confirmed Judges, Confirmed Fears project exposes this
ongoing harm. We track the rulings, document patterns, and make this
information available to journalists, activists, and lawmakers. [ [link removed] ]Explore

But this work takes resources. Every report, every data update, every
deep-dive analysis depends on supporters like you.

Trump’s judges are continuing to erode our democracy case by case – and
unless we fight back, their rulings will define our rights, our freedoms,
and our futures.

judges and the importance of the fight for fair-minded judges who uphold
equality and justice for all.

Thank you for fighting alongside us,
