The Lincoln Project

Friend,

What? Another rigged election?

Man, WHY does this only happen when Trump gets his ass kicked?

Here we go again. The same meltdown, the same accusations, the same lack of evidence, the same sore loser sitting around the half-demolished White House.

The only thing that could be different here is what Trump does about it. Which is unsettling to say the least.

Think about it. Last time he did this, he was too busy getting thrown out of office to make some massive voter suppression move. That’s why he just went with a simple insurrection instead.

But this time, he’s still in the Oval Office. And that’s exactly why he’s squawking about banning mail-in ballots and voting machines.

Remember, Trump doesn’t care about your vote. In fact, he doesn’t care about anybody’s vote. If it was up to him, nobody would vote at all, and we’d all be stuck with Trump until he kicks the bucket.

Lucky for us, that’s not how America works. This is still a democracy. And we will still fight for the right to vote in our elections. Just like the generations who came before us.

If Trump wants to take away the right to vote, he’ll have to go through our entire movement. And believe us, that won’t be easy.

This is gonna be a battle. Help us be ready >>
