Hello —
I need you to make a contribution to our campaign before our mid-July fundraising deadline on Wednesday but first, I want to talk to you a little bit about why I got into public service in the first place.
I didn’t take the usual path. After I was laid off as a geologist, I became a brewer and small business owner whose successful brewpub was a part of the revitalization of a neglected warehouse district in Denver.
Then, I ran for mayor and eventually governor, creating jobs here in Colorado and getting things done that mattered for people by bringing folks together around our common values.
It wasn’t easy then, and I know it won’t be easy now — not with the bickering and partisanship in Washington. But I know we can do it again if we win this election the right way.
My Republican opponent in this race is backed by Mitch McConnell’s network of right-wing billionaire donors who are going to do everything they can to tear us down. We can’t let them get away with it.
So, as we approach our mid-July fundraising deadline of the year, we’re looking to raise $75,000 from as many grassroots donors as possible in the next few days.
Will you make a donation of $10 or more toward our mid-July fundraising deadline today? The amount you donate isn’t as important as the act of donating, which is a declaration of your support for the kind of campaign we’re running.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I’m ready to get to work in Washington — fighting to lower our health care costs and end this pandemic, safeguard families from gun violence, combat climate change, and get our economy back on track.
But first, we need to win this race. I’m up for that challenge, and I need to know you’re with me.
Thanks for stepping up and for all you do.
