This is the most energy we’ve seen in years.

John,

These days, it can sometimes feel like your actions don’t matter.

As Deputy Campaigns Director for All On The Line, I fight to protect democracy here in my home state of North Carolina and in states like Texas, Missouri, and Ohio. Each time a state moves to redraw its maps, our team hosts trainings and events that organize voters to fight back.

And I need to fill you in on something.

I can say with all honesty that we’re seeing a groundswell of volunteers like we have not seen in years. These are Americans passionate about issues like health care, immigration, and reproductive rights — and understand that progress on these important issues is directly linked to gerrymandering.

I can safely say it’s the most energized and passionate the fair maps movement has ever been. And it’s all thanks to people like you, who power our work organizing volunteers, peacefully protesting, and making voters’ voices heard. And it’s starting to pay off — in recent weeks, we’ve seen more lawmakers grow wary of pursuing extreme mid-decade gerrymanders, from Indiana to Kansas.

Will you build on our momentum by powering All On The Line’s grassroots work with a donation today? We’re able to do this work and mobilize people on the ground because of supporters like you, John.

Every day, I work with communities who feel locked out of the democratic system — and they’re right to feel that way. When politicians hand-pick their voters (instead of the other way around), democracy stops working. And the worst part is that’s their intention.

But I’ve also seen something else — people fighting back. Across the country, organizers, volunteers, and everyday citizens are standing up and saying “enough.” They’re demanding transparency, fairness, and accountability.

So today, I’m here to echo what I’ve heard in every state I’ve worked in:

We draw the line at maps that divide and conquer.
We draw the line at leaders who rig the rules to keep power.
And we draw the line at a legislature that works only for itself, not for the people it represents.

This isn’t just a state issue — it’s a national one. But that also means it’s a national opportunity. Across this country, Americans are proving that the fight for fair maps and fair representation is alive and growing.

And we won’t stop until we get the democracy we all deserve.

If you’re able, make a donation to power the next phase of this fight for fair representation. Your donation will be immediately put to work to fight for our democracy in the places that most need our help.

Thank you for being a critical part of this grassroots movement.
