I want to be honest with you: for too long, Mississippi has been counted out.

Pundits and leaders everywhere, including the ones elected to represent us, ignored us.

But that’s all about to change because everyone around the nation agrees that Mississippi is in play.

And not because of any partisan posturing but because Mississippians just want to pay their bills and put food on the table. But leaders like Cindy Hyde-Smith refuse to stand up for her constituents, so now, I will.

I’m running because I’m tired of our own leaders treating Mississippians as an afterthought. We need leaders who will fight for us, instead of leaving voters with empty promises.
