As I enter my second month as Interim Executive Director of this fierce organization, I'm seeing how the current public health crisis (Covid-19) is revealing deep cracks in our healthcare system that activists, like Breast Cancer Action, have been agitating about for decades: we need an accessible healthcare system, to focus on disparities, demand good science and have a consistent public health messages, and to not be harmed by billion-dollar corporations.
