Right now, the East Wing of the White House is in ruins.
The East Wing was created by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1942 and
has been used to house offices for the First Lady, welcome ceremonies for
foreign dignitaries, and special events.
But Donald Trump is knocking it down to build himself a $300 million
ballroom.
While the government is shut down, federal employees go without paychecks,
and food assistance is stalled, the White House is raking in millions from
billionaire donors who, in turn, are receiving giant tax cuts!
If this isn't evidence of the worst corruption our nation has ever seen
then we don't know what is.
