Enough is enough. I’m glad to see the Trump administration is taking action to combat the rising tide of left-wing violence in America.

After years of witnessing Antifa members incite and commit violence against innocent people, attack law enforcement officials, and torch federal and private property, President Trump officially designated Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization.

This is a move The Heritage Foundation’s scholars have promoted since 2019. It will prioritize attention and federal resources on Antifa and provide tools for stopping the funding that allows Antifa to operate.

Antifa is not just “a set of ideas.” It is an organization with a logo, trained activists, funding, and uses pre-made signs and pre-gathered vehicles, gear, and projectiles.

This is a great first step. But there is even more President Trump can do to protect Americans from leftist violence.

The Heritage Foundation is urging the FBI to designate Transgender Ideology-Inspired Violent Extremism (TIVE) as domestic terrorism, following a string of attacks by trans or trans-supporting criminals.

Especially in the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination, this action is long overdue.
