Derrick Van Orden’s favorability ratings are UNDERWATER and – based on Tuesday’s election results – Democrats are ready and fired up to vote blue.
But, we need a candidate who can take this fight to DVO AND win.
In that poll, DVO was put in a head to head matchup with Emily’s primary opponent. And even in that head to head matchup, 13% of people said they didn’t know who they’d vote for.

These poll results are telling, because even though DVO is deeply unpopular, Emily’s primary opponent (who has been running this race for 6 years), isn’t pulling enough support to beat him if there are still 13% of respondents who are undecided.
Folks want someone new, they don’t want to just vote for the same old, same old. If Tuesday’s results showed us anything, it’s that Democrats across the country are fired up to elect progressives who are true to their values. Someone who will stand up to the establishment not follow their orders.
