John, I need to give you three critical updates:

1. Millions of Americans are seeing their healthcare premiums soar as the government shutdown continues.

2. Republicans are on vacation and refusing to come to a solution to reopen our government.

3. Now, they are cutting SNAP benefits – forcing 42 MILLION Americans to go hungry.

This is the cruelty of the Republican agenda.

As House Democrats' Campaign Chair, I’m calling on Republicans to stop playing political games, come back to the negotiating table, and fix the healthcare crisis they created.

American families should not be paying the price of the Republican shutdown.

Republicans need to come back to DC now and do their job.

Our communities can’t wait.
