If you had any doubt that Trump doesn’t care about working families, he spelled it out for you.
Trump told reporters, “I don't want to hear about the affordability” .
There are hardworking Americans who are struggling to feed their families. Struggling to pay their bills. Struggling to just get by in Trump’s tanking economy. But he doesn’t want to hear it. Because he does not care.
And the MAGA majority in Congress doesn’t care either. They’re still holding the government hostage, they’re refusing to accept a compromise that would protect healthcare, and they won’t even hold a vote to pay our troops.
The government is supposed to work for the American people. Right now, the most important way it can do that is by making sure families can afford to survive. Even if Trump doesn’t care, the GOP needs to let us get back to work so we can get it done.
We can’t afford another two years of their control. The midterms are now just twelve months away, and they’re about to ramp up the attacks in districts like this one.
