Hey folks! Rita Hart here. |
Democrats across the nation did amazing in Tuesday’s election! Sherrill for governor in New Jersey, Mamdani for mayor in New York City, Spanberger for governor in Virginia; Democrats have taken important posts in a massive sweep that bodes well for the midterms to come! |
These successes also put pressure on Republicans to negotiate on the ACA credits and end their shutdown. The American people see through their tricks, and can recognize their devastating policies for what they are. It should come as no surprise that a party that would intentionally withhold SNAP benefits from their constituents would perform poorly on election night. |

Our healthcare is on the line, and Democrats are standing up for them every step of the way so that Iowans don't fall through the cracks. If you or your family could be impacted by rising ACA rates or farming difficulties, tell us your story here: Storyteller Sign-Up Form |

Iowa Republicans are leaving working folks in the dust. It is getting harder and harder to make ends meet and Republicans are not doing anything to lower costs. Iowans deserve better. We need to elect leaders who will step up and make sure working families are getting the necessary medical care that allows them to live healthy lives.
