Hi John,
When law enforcement is used as a tool for political retribution, it hurts all of us. We lose trust in those who are supposed to be impartial, agents become afraid to speak up, and unethical or illegal behavior can flourish.
And yet, that's exactly what FBI head Kash Patel is doing.

In just the past few weeks, he has fired agents and supervisors at the FBI who were tied to the federal investigation into President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election. And there are reports that he fired the head of the FBI's critical incident response group, which oversees the agency's fleet of jets, in addition to handling major security threats. The firing came after news stories revealed Patel had used a government jet to travel to see his girlfriend perform at a wrestling match.
Three agents are suing Patel, claiming that they were fired in a campaign of retribution led by the White House and the Justice Department.
Our law enforcement agencies are meant to keep us safe, not serve the President's personal political agenda. Tell Congress the FBI is not a tool for political retribution.
