Hi John. I’m so
excited to share this news with you:

Thanks to this incredible community, we didn’t just hit our $2,500 goal to
feed Seattle families impacted by SNAP delays — we crushed it!

So far, we’ve raised over $4,500 to support the White Center Food Bank.
That’s enough to provide 1,800 meals. I knew this community would be
willing to help, but I’m truly moved by how quickly and generously folks
like you stepped up while Trump and MAGA Republicans continue abandoning
families in need.

And we’re not done yet. Food banks in Seattle and across the country are
seeing longer lines and higher demand than ever. With no end in sight to
the shutdown and SNAP funding still on the line, we need to pull through
again.

That’s why we’re setting a new goal: $9,000 to provide 3,600 meals before
Thanksgiving. [ [link removed] ]Will you pitch in today to help us get there?

These meals make a real difference. It’s one less worry for families
trying to pay rent, care for their kids, and put food on the table during
a difficult time.

This is what resistance looks like: community, compassion, and taking
action when our leaders fail to.

Let’s keep it going — together.

In solidarity,

Pramila Jayapal
