Our panel of policymakers, activists and farmers will explain how you can help
end Big Meat’s control over our food system.‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Dear Supporter,

COVID-19 has created a new sense of urgency—and unprecedented momentum—for
ending the factory farm nightmare in this country.

It would be a crime to let this opportunity slip by.

On Tuesday, July 14 at 7 p.m. CDT, please join Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.),
longtime food/farming activist Sherri Dugger, farmer & rancher Will Harris,
myself and others to learn what you can do to end factory farming.

Register here for the zoom call.

[[link removed]]According to data collected by the Food & Environment Reporting Network, at
least 490 meatpacking and food processing plants have had confirmed cases of
Covid-19. At least 43,077 workers have tested positive for Covid-19 and at least
162 workers have died.

Meanwhile, Tyson and the other Big Meat tyrants are claiming they need more help
from the government because the food chain is “broken”—even as these same
companies export record amounts of meat to China, and jack up prices for U.S.
consumers.

But that’s only part of the story.

A handful of Big Meat corporations, run by fat cat CEOs from their highrise
corporations, are polluting our waterways, gutting our rural economies,
destroying biodiversity, contributing to global warming and torturing animals.

These factory farm torture chambers are also creating the perfect conditions for
future pandemics.

And let’s not forget the No. 1 reason to end the production of pesticide-, GMO-,
drug- and antibiotic-contaminated factory farm meat— your health .

We may never again have an opportunity like this to radically transform how meat
is produced in this country—for the benefit of our health, food and farming
workers, animals and the environment.

Join us on Tuesday, July 14 at 7 p.m. CDT to learn how you can help. Register today for the zoom call
