Dear John,

Prison Fellowship has long believed in the strength of partnerships. There is more than enough work for all of us who labor to bring God’s kingdom to this broken world. This verse from Ecclesiastes 4 reminds me of the potential of complementary ministries: “Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

We’re thrilled to share that despite these challenging times, we have been blessed to partner with even more organizations to serve those who are incarcerated. Here’s just a small sampling of recent collaborations:

  • We continue to expand distribution for Floodlight, our online platform providing inspiring and educational video resources that wardens and chaplains can download and air for free. We’re also welcoming Proverbs 31 Ministries, Passion City Church, and IF:Gathering—all new partners providing proprietary content for viewing on Floodlight.
  • As COVID-19 cases in prisons continue to surface, we are pleased to see Departments of Corrections implement compassionate-release mechanisms. Such measures allow those who can safely be placed in home confinement or supervised release to serve their remaining time in supportive environments. As more people are returning home, it is more important than ever that they get the help and services they need. To assist, we’ve partnered with CrossWalk Center in Houston, home of our largest Prison Fellowship Academy, to provide reliable reentry services to our graduates. We’re also partnering with 70 Million Jobs, a nationwide second-chance staffing agency.

We are grateful for you and all of our ministry partners, who make this important work possible each day. We continue to pray for all those in prison and for you too. Please let us know if there is a specific prayer request we can lift up for you and your family.

We thank God for your continued support and prayers.

In Him,
