- In Texas, Christian Menefee dominated a 16-candidate field with 29% of the vote for the TX-18 congressional seat. But you need 50% to avoid a runoff in the state — so the fight continues early next year.
- In New Jersey, James Solomon made it through a competitive 7-candidate field to reach the December 2nd runoff for Mayor of Jersey City, the Garden State's second-largest city.
